Lawyer Profile:

Ms. Phillips works with Strategic Partners Asset Recovery in Mansfield, Ohio, which also serves Columbus, OH and the communities throughout North Central and Central Ohio. Her work includes commercial debt collection, contract litigation, corporate law, construction/development, business formation, creditors' rights, and appellate work.

Although a native of central Ohio, Ms. Phillips completed her undergraduate education in Texas. A cum laude graduate in Communications from the University of Houston, Ms. Phillips remained in the Houston area working in healthcare for thirteen years. Upon deciding to pursue a career in law, she returned to Ohio where she received her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland, Ohio. Ms. Phillips was honored as the outstanding trial advocate of her graduating class, recognized for her achievements by the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and selected for inclusion in the Order of Barristers.

Ms. Phillips is a member and supporter of the Ohio State Bar Association, American Bar Association and numerous other professional organizations.

As an involved member of her community, Ms. Phillips sits on the board of directors for the Central Ohio Chapter of the March of Dimes and dedicates time to charitable programs dealing with rehabilitation therapies on local and state levels in addition to preservation of Ohio farmland and environmental issues. She enjoys golf and equestrian activities.
